At least six companions of A. Paleckis under suspicion in spying case

According to information obtained by the LRT Television show Panorama, at least 6 companions of Algirdas Paleckis are under suspicion in the spying case. One of them is the leader of the Socialist People’s Front created by A. Paleckis and is also a figure in the MG Baltic case. Meanwhile, Jedinstvo leader Valery Ivanov, who was released from arrest yesterday, has not been charged with spying, lrt.lt writes.

The LRT Investigation Department has uncovered another Russian partner to Agrokoncernas. Fertiliser is also imported from the fertiliser factory Kuibyshev Azot, which is managed and whose shareholder is a member of Vladimir Putin’s United Russia, Viktor Gerasimenko. The head of the fertiliser factory supported V. Putin during the presidential elections and several years ago successfully ran in regional elections together with United Russia. The only shareholder of Agrokoncernas, “Farmer” leader Ramūnas Karbauskis sees no issue with such business partnerships, lrt.lt writes.

Seimas rejects LRT investigation conclusions: unprecedented vote in Seimas

On Thursday, the final vote on the LRT investigation commission’s conclusions was held in Seimas. As Remigijus Žemaitaitis, who chaired the sitting, noted – this vote was unprecedented. Amendments proposed by Aušrinė Armonaitė and the conclusions‘ first article were approved, but the vote on the second article did not pass.
